Job description:
Senior Veterinary Technician — Concierge Mobile Practice (Los Angeles)
Skip the exam room. Skip the kennel runs. Work one patient, one home, one appointment at a time.
We're a high-end mobile veterinary practice serving Los Angeles pet owners who want their vet to come to them. No waiting rooms, no back-to-back double-bookings, no fear-and-stress patients stacked in a lobby — just focused, unhurried in-home care delivered from a fully equipped mobile hospital.
Our clients aren't penny-pinching pet owners. They value exceptional veterinary care and simply don't have time to sit in a clinic waiting room — they expect the best of the best, and they're willing to pay for it. This is an established practice with a high-end client roster, and discretion matters: NDAs are required.
We're hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician who wants more autonomy, more variety in their day, and a lot less chaos than a traditional hospital shift.
What you'll actually be doing
- Assisting the veterinarian one-on-one during in-home appointments — no juggling multiple rooms at once
- Restraining and handling canine and feline patients safely and calmly
- Prepping patients for exams, diagnostics, and treatment
- Running in-house diagnostics and collecting lab samples
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Keeping the mobile hospital stocked, clean, and appointment-ready every day
- Processing client invoices and payments
- Keeping medical records accurate and current
- Being the calm, knowledgeable face of the visit for clients who expect a premium experience
What you need
- 2+ years hands-on veterinary technician experience — required
- Strong handling and clinical skills across dogs and cats of varying sizes/temperaments
- The judgment to multitask and problem-solve without a full clinic team backing you up in the moment
- Comfortable being the primary support in someone's home, not just in a clinic
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and safely manage patients solo when needed
- Comfortable signing an NDA and maintaining strict client confidentiality
- Mobile practice experience a plus, not required
What you get
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k)
- Paid time off
- Flexible scheduling
- Continuing education and professional development support
- Employee discounts
- A small, tight-knit team — not a corporate machine
- If you're a tech who's tired of being one of six people crammed into one exam room, and you want to actually build relationships with the patients and families you treat — apply today.
